We are a Church school which is at the heart of everything we do. It informs the way we lead our school and the way we plan for and take care of the children and families in our community.
"Living, learning and growing
together with God's love."
We enjoy a strong link with our Church, St. Leonards and our Vicar Revd. Chris who plays an active part in school life. The children look forward to assemblies and visits from members of the community and visits to Church for our Open the Book Assemblies or special celebrations.
All of the children visit Church each fortnight and enjoy taking an active role in collective worship.
We have been fortunate to be able to continue our visit throughout COVID as the PCC have put in place careful arrangements for both the school and community to use the Church safely at different times of the week.
Children annually walk to the Butleigh war memorial for a special service with stunning views of the Somerset countryside.
Children from Year 5 and 6 take part in readings and the oldest and youngest pupil present the wreath on behalf of the school.
