Dear Kite Class
Here are some suggested ideas for your home learning, today.
9 o’clock - spellings - Ask an adult to read your spellings from your red spellings book while you write them down in your Maths home learning book. Change your pencil to a bright colour. Mark your spellings and if you need to correct any words, write them down in your bright colour. How did you get on? Print out or copy your new words for next week.
9:30 - PE - Once again I cannot send you a swimming pool, sadly. Do the Yoga clips as before or maybe try getting ready for sports day (the website is on the activity grid for this week). Alternatively choose something of your choice for one hour. Our focus this week is using a timer and making an obstacle course.
10:30 - have a break. Make sure you wash your hands and eat a piece of fruit.
11 o’clock - PSHE - look at the suggested activities on the learning grid for this week.
12 o’clock - wash your hands and enjoy your lunch hour.
1 o’clock- maths - please find video clip work attached for work re Year 1 and then Year 2 or use the red button on your TV. Do you like red button maths? If you need more to do you can always try the sticker challenges below, IXL games or Timestable Rockstars as per our class letter where you will find patterns counting in 2, 5 and 10 and use the maths table I gave out at parents evening. This should help you out. Write your work in your maths home-learning book.
2 o’clock - ICT - have a go at answering the questions about the books on the tally chart - see the website on the activity grid. How did you get on?
3 o’clock - golden mile - how many times can you run around the garden in ten minutes?
I hope you had as much fun doing your home-learning as I had in planning it? If you have any questions, ask your grown up to email me on the office email address found on the school website. Keep smiling and stay safe.
