Dear Kite Class
Here are some suggested ideas for your home learning, today.
9 o’clock - spellings - Ask an adult to read your spellings from your red spellings book while you write them down in your Maths home learning book. Change your pencil to a bright colour. Mark your spellings and if you need to correct any words, write them down in your bright colour. How did you get on? Print out or copy your new words for next week, they are at the bottom of this page.
9:30 - PE - Do the Tuesday PE activity on the learning grid. The physical education task is called swamp crossing.
10:30 - have a break. Make sure you wash your hands and eat a piece of fruit.
11 o’clock - PSHE - see learning grid, discuss and make a list of how we look after planet which is our global environment. Sound out your words carefully.
12 o’clock - wash your hands and enjoy your lunch hour.
1 o’clock- Maths - please find BBC Bitesize video clip work attached for work re Year 1 and then Year 2 or use the red button on your TV. White Rose videos are back, too! IXL games or Timestable Rockstars are also available, where you will find patterns counting in 2, 5 and 10 and use the maths table I gave out at parents evening. This should help you out. Write your work in your maths home-learning book.
2 o’clock - ICT - visit the website on the learning grid. Watch the BBC Bitesize video about data handling and carry out the activities that follow.
3 o’clock - golden mile - how many times can you run around the garden in ten minutes?
I hope you had as much fun doing your home-learning as I had in planning it? If you have any questions, ask your grown up to email me on the office email address found on the school website. Keep smiling and stay safe.
