Dear Kite Class
Here are some suggested ideas for your home learning, today.
9 o’clock - spellings - ask a grown-up to read your words from your red book while you write them into your maths home learning book. Then change the colour of your pencil and mark them yourself, just like we do at school. If you don’t get the spelling right, copy the word from your red book using your bright colour next to your try in your maths book. I attach your spellings for you to practise ready for next Tuesday.
9:30 - yoga - sadly I can’t email a swimming pool to you! But I thought you would like to do the yoga you did with me for Sport Relief using these video clips to keep fit:https://www.verywellfit.com/essential-yoga-poses-for-beginners-3566747
10:30 - Take a break and wash your hands, then have a piece of fruit.
11 o’clock - PSHE - write a recipe for a perfect friend. Look at https://www.teachitprimary.co.uk/resources/y1/getting-on-and-falling-out/recipe-for-a-friend-interactive/17011 for some ideas.
Have a lovely lunch hour. Remember to wash your hands at the start and at the end.
1 o’clock - maths - see enclosures. I am going to try some video clips for your maths. Get your grown up to email with some feedback. Year 1 use lesson two from https://whiterosemaths.com/homelearning/year-1/. Year 2 use lesson two from https://whiterosemaths.com/homelearning/year-2/.
2 o’clock - ICT - laptop work, see if you can open a Word document using white W on a blue square from Desktop. Type the inside for your Easter card.
Have a wonderful Easter
Ask your grown-up if you can print one copy. Then on some nice, colourful cardboard folded in half, stick your picture from last week on the front and a print off of your lovely new typed message to stick on the inside. You have made your Easter card!
3 o’clock - golden mile - how many times can you run around the garden in ten minutes?
Have a lovely evening. I’ll try to send you a video clip tomorrow.
