Welcome to Hedgehog class page.  In our class we have children in Reception, Year One and Year Two.

We do lots of fun 'hands-on' learning including our exciting outdoor learning sessions. The learning in Hedgehog class is based on a range of activities, some of which are child initiated and some are adult led. For children in Year One and Two we follow the national curriculum, planning our work around active learning including some continuous provision. For reception children we follow the seven curriculum areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage. These are

We follow the children's interests to lead our learning journeys.

Our theme for the Autumn 1 is 'Beautiful Butleigh'.

For our parents we use an online journal called Tapestry and Class Dojo so parents can see all of the exciting activities we do each week at school and they can also comment and add their own photographs and achievements from home.
