EYFS and KS1 Phonics presentation
In EYFS and Key Stage One we teach our children how to read using phonics and we use the Read, Write Inc scheme. It support children to blend and segment the sounds. All the children will learn a new sound in at school before they see it in a book.
When they are reading their book at home, they should be able to read at least 90% of it fluently.
