We are twinned with St Peter’s Primary School, Kajuki, in a harsh, semi arid area of Kenya. We sponsor a child from a very poor family, who would otherwise not be able to receive an education - Allan Njeru. We also fundraise to help give daily lunch to hundreds of primary school children. We exchange banners, letters, posters and drawings with the children of St Peter’s. We do all this through the associated charity, started and run by Kenyan-born Butleigh resident, David Baldwin MBE, who visits the school, giving talks about life of the children at St Peter’s - www.stpeterslifeline.org.uk
